Eric Boisse
Eric Boisse, dad of an amazing 7 years old daughter, is a French Olympic épée champion and four-time World Champion, recognized for his precision, determination, and leadership both on and off the piste. Rising to the top of international fencing, he earned Olympic gold in Athens 2004 and held the world #1 ranking, establishing himself as one of the sport’s most accomplished athletes. Beyond his own competitive career, Eric has dedicated more than two decades to coaching and developing athletes, guiding students to medals at World Championships, Pan-American events, and national titles. Today, as co-founder of Apex Fencing Academy in Metro Vancouver, he combines his elite expertise with a strong belief in the potential of every child. His vision is to build not only champions in sport but also confident, resilient individuals. At Apex, Eric brings together his passion for high performance, education, and family values—creating a space where young athletes grow, thrive, and discover the joy of reaching their full potential.

Monica Peterson, mom of 3 awesome sons, is a distinguished Canadian foil fencer and Olympian, renowned for her agility, technical finesse, and competitive spirit. She represented Canada at the 2012 London Olympic Games and has competed on the international stage for over a decade, earning multiple national titles and World Cup appearances. A trailblazer in Canadian fencing, Monica is dedicated to growing the sport across the country. She continues to inspire and empower the next generation of fencers with her passion and experience.

Hunter Moricz is a passionate sabre coach and former national-level fencer. Known for his energetic and engaging coaching style, he helps students sharpen their technique, strategy, and confidence on the piste. Hunter brings both competitive experience and a love of the sport to every class at Apex Fencing Academy.
